Who we are
Nanotec IT Solutions (“we”, “us”) is an IT services business based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Our website address is https://www.nanotec.ie. For any privacy question, contact us via the contact form on this site or by email to [email protected].
What personal data we collect
Contact form. When you use our contact form we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide our services (legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract).
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and security services automatically record limited technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, in server logs used for security and troubleshooting. Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical browser signals to distinguish humans from bots.
We do not run visitor analytics or advertising trackers, we do not accept blog comments, and we do not sell personal data.
Cookies
This site sets only strictly necessary cookies: security cookies set by Cloudflare (our content delivery and security provider) and by Cloudflare Turnstile when you use the contact form. We set no marketing or analytics cookies.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Verpex (website hosting), Cloudflare (content delivery, DNS and security), SMTP2GO (delivery of emails sent from the website, such as contact form notifications) and Microsoft 365 (our business email, where your correspondence with us is stored). These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and for reasonable business record-keeping afterwards. Server and security logs are retained for short periods by our providers and rotate automatically.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).
Security
All traffic to this website is encrypted (HTTPS), and we apply appropriate technical measures — including firewall protection and login security — to protect the site and any data submitted through it.
